Overview
The design puts the transgender flag in the field and reduces the ally flags' letter A to a single flat black device. It reached the LGBTA Wiki's Allies page on 7 January 2021 as one of a pair with a straight ally flag attributed to the same designer: the two files were uploaded seconds apart, both are 1,920 pixels wide, and both devices rise to an apex on the centre line, at x 959 in each. [1] Six months later the flag appeared on Twitter in @LJMLH2's "One Flag A Day" thread for the last day of Pride Month 2021, credited to vaultausir and described as representing "allies that are cisgender (not trans or genderqueer)." [3][2] No post, profile capture or statement by vaultausir has been located, so everything recorded here about them is a credit given by other people.

Created by vaultausir. The post that introduced the flag says so in its own text: the account @LJMLH2 published it on Twitter on 1 July 2021, inside a thread headed "Day 30th of “One Flag A Day”: The LGBTQ+ Ally Flag" posted for the last day of Pride Month, with the words "The Cisgender Ally Flag: Created by @.vaultausir on Twitter. Represents allies that are cisgender (not trans or genderqueer)." [2] @LJMLH2 published the earliest located credit and did not claim the design; the same thread credits other ally flags to other people in the same form, among them two to the wiki editor Cryptocrew.
The artwork is older than that post. It was uploaded to the LGBTA Wiki on 7 January 2021 by the account Trashwoof, seconds after the companion straight ally image, and Trashwoof is the uploader rather than the designer. [1] Whether vaultausir uploaded through that account, supplied the files to someone else, or was credited afterwards is not recorded, and whether @LJMLH2 commissioned the flag, requested it or simply shared it is not stated either.
The LGBTQIA+ Wiki credits the flag differently, saying it "was created by Twitter user LJMLH2 on or before June 30th, 2021" and citing that same post. [3] The post credits someone else, and this entry follows the post.

The field is the transgender flag's five-band arrangement in approximate rather than exact colours: measured on the source artwork the light blue reads #75CEF5 and the pink #EBAEBA, near but not equal to the transgender flag's published values. [1] The black device is the letter A of the ally flags, a convention that family shares rather than a borrowing from one identified design. No source connects this flag to a particular Straight Ally flag, so none is recorded as its parent.
It is one of a pair. The straight ally flag attributed to vaultausir was uploaded to the same wiki page seconds earlier and carries the same A at nearly the same coordinates, in white over a rainbow field; the canvases differ by eleven pixels in height, 1,175 here against 1,186. [1] Neither design descends from the other.

The transgender flag as the field, light blue, pink, white, pink, light blue, charged with a large plain black A-shaped device: a triangle rising from the lower edge to an apex near the top, with a triangular notch opening upward from the lower edge so the shape reads as the letter. The device carries no crossbar. Measured on the source artwork, 1,920 by 1,175 pixels: the apex sits on the centre line at x 957 to 961 and 0.174 of the height, and the two legs meet the lower edge between x 229 and 720 and between x 1,198 and 1,689, leaving the field visible in both bottom corners. No construction sheet or designer specification has been located. The five bands are approximately equal at 229, 233, 234, 233 and 232 rows; the remaining rows are antialiased transitions belonging to the rendering rather than to the design. [1]

Documented circulation is a wiki gallery and one Twitter thread. No case of use has been located under this database's definition: a wiki reproducing a flag is documentation of the design, not a user of it. [3][2]
Discourse & Debates
The wiki page that carries this design also records two later objections to ally flags built on the straight flag's black and white field. The Chain Collective, who are bodily intersex, asked for alternates to the intersex ally flag "due to the use of the straight flag implying that all intersex individuals were gay," and the Tumblr user thee-radio-host-is-a-kookaburra made a set in August 2023 "after hy thought it was odd that most ally flags had the straight flag in the background." [3] Both are later reception of the ally-flag family, more than two years after this design, and neither mentions it. No reason for this flag has been recorded by anyone.

The post the wiki cites, read in a capture made the day it went up. It carries the flag, the credit to vaultausir and the one-line statement of who the flag is for, inside a thread of ally flags posted for the last day of Pride Month 2021. The live post is not reachable; the capture is. The account's display name varies: it read Lili at an earlier reading of the thread and Melody when re-read in August 2026; the handle is the stable identifier.

The wiki's Allies page, which collects several dozen ally flags with dates and creators. Its own header warns that much of the wiki "comes from a time when resourcing was not required" and asks readers to verify against external sources. On this flag it names the wrong creator; the post it cites credits vaultausir.

The current file page for the source artwork, read in a September 2025 capture because the wiki blocks automated access. It gives the dimensions, 1,920 by 1,175 pixels at 61 KB, and records the 22 January 2022 bot import from the LGBTA Fandom Wiki. It names no image author.
