Overview

The Commons file page states the flag was created "for the Two-Spirit individuals of the LGBTQIA+ community."

This entry represents a work in progress. In observance of Indigenous data sovereignty principles (OCAP, CARE) and archival best practices informed by Mukurtu CMS, we are actively seeking review and guidance from Two-Spirit organizations including 2-Spirited People of the 1st Nations (Toronto), 2Spirit Manitoba, and the Bay Area American Indian Two-Spirits (BAAITS). Indigenous contributions, corrections, and cultural context are welcomed and will be centered in future revisions.
