A 30 June 2024 post to Reddit's vexillology forum, titled "Saw this flag today in Chicago, what is it?", carries a photograph of a manufactured flag of this pattern flying in front of a masonry facade. The poster states the photograph is not their own: "This specific photo isn't mine, the photo I took wasn't fit to share but I was able to use that image to track down the one I've posted here. Both this photo and mine were taken in Chicago so it might be a Chicago specific flag."
