An alternate version by Pride-Flags (March 11, 2021) replaces the white middle stripe with green to represent romantic attraction. The base abrosexual flag was created by Mod Chad of pride-flags-for-us on July 20, 2014, after an anonymous requester specified a five-color gradient from #46D294 to white to #EE1766. Some sources date the flag to 2013 on DeviantArt. The speculated color meanings are: green for Queer attraction, white for the in-between stage of attraction shifting, and pink for the actual shift. The colors also match those of a watermelon, which some note as a pun on the fluidity of the orientation. ^[1][2][3][4]
