The Non-aligned-sapphic design is the version most often reproduced in nonbinary orientation flag guides. [2] The Pride-Flags project published it in February 2021 with the designer credited by name and date. [4] A four-band redesign by the Reddit user frcgdad_ in September 2020, yellow, white, pink and purple, was published by the same project in March 2021, together with a matching toric flag in yellow, white, teal and dark blue. [5] An anonymous wiki version of April 2021 bears a pink poppy. [2]
Trixic is part of a triad of nonbinary orientation terms, alongside toric (nonbinary attraction to men) and enbian (nonbinary attraction to nonbinary people). These three terms collectively provide a framework for describing the orientation of nonbinary people without defaulting to binary-gendered orientation labels.

The meanings are not in dispute; the artwork is. Both documenting sources give the same sentence, naming purple and yellow for nonbinary identity and pink for attraction to women. [2][4] An earlier version of this entry read the two lower bands as orange signalling nonbinary identity and cited the wiki for it. The wiki says yellow. The values published here follow the rendering that names the designer and ends in wheat and gold; no file from the designer has been measured. [4][1]
Two palettes circulate for this flag. The values here are the Pride-Flags rendering, measured from that project’s own 5000 by 3000 file, whose five bands are exactly 600 rows each. [4] The alternative, carried by a color-hex.com community palette and used in earlier versions of this entry and in the artwork that circulates most widely, keeps the same three upper bands within a few units but ends in light and dark orange, #FFB48A and #FE9761. [2] The documentary evidence favours the values published here. Both sources that state the flag’s meanings state them identically, "Purple and yellow represents being non-binary, pink represents attraction to women", so yellow has a named role in the design and orange has none in either account. [2][4] The 2020 redesign the same project publishes for this flag is also yellow. [5] And all five measured values are exact X11 colour names, MediumOrchid3, Plum2, pink, Wheat1 and DarkGoldenrod1, while none of the five color-hex values matches a named colour. - Trixic is sometimes confused with sapphic or lesbian identity. Trixic specifically describes the attraction of nonbinary people to women, whereas sapphic and lesbian are typically used by women attracted to women.
- Treated as a single design. At least four flags circulate under this name: the 2017 Non-aligned-sapphic flag, a four-band redesign by the Reddit user frcgdad_ published in 2020, a version in deep blues and purples published by Pride-Flags in April 2021 and credited "Flag by Unknown", and a 2021 wiki version bearing a pink poppy.
