Indigenous Pride Flags
Flags representing Two-Spirit people and Indigiqueer identities. Two-Spirit is a pan-Indigenous umbrella term proposed by Elder Myra Laramee in 1990, replacing the colonial anthropological term "berdache." These flags are created by and for Indigenous North American communities and reflect culturally specific understandings of gender, sexuality, and spiritual roles.
