Common misidentifications
- Not the "Ultimate" Inclusive Diversity Pride Flag that TransIphis uploaded to Wikimedia Commons in December 2022, which has nine stripes and a single chevron at the hoist. The two share most of a title and nothing else. This database illustrated that entry with this image until August 2026, and described that flag's chevrons as four-directional as a result.
- Not a joke flag. The thread's most upvoted comment, "biblically accurate pride flag", is a reader's, and much of the reception is comic; the designer answered that it is "not a joke" but "my art experiment". [1]
