Overview
The creator objected to every ally flag carrying the straight flag in the background, observing that Queer people can be allies to other Queer communities. [1]
One of ten community-specific ally flags published together on Tumblr on 13 August 2023. The creator's premise was to replace the straight flag that ally flags conventionally carry as their background: in each design the background is the flag of the group acting as allies, while the large capital A carries the colours of the community being supported. The post gives the pattern directly, noting that a trans ally flag takes the cisgender flag, a neopronouns ally flag the trad-pronoun flag, and an asexual ally flag the allosexual flag. [1][2]

The creator's stated reason for making the set was dissatisfaction with the ally-flag convention: every ally flag carried the straight flag in the background, and, as the post puts it, Queer people can very much be allies to other Queer people. The alternative was to make the background the flag of the group acting as allies, so that a trans ally flag carries the cisgender flag, an asexual ally flag the allosexual flag, and this one the trad-pronoun flag. - The LGBTQIA+ Wiki lists this design as an exipronoun ally flag, which reverses the roles: the creator's preserved post labels it "Neopronouns Ally", and the exipronoun or trad-pronoun flag appears as the background because the background stands for the group acting as allies. [3][1]
