Undated. The only source documenting the flag, the GayFetishGoth guide, gives no date for it, and no post by the pseudonym Uboa has been located. ^[1] A DeviantArt "Foot Fetish Pride Flag" of 20 May 2020 by Fetishie is a different design and does not date this one. ^[2]

No date of design has been located. Neither the guide that carries the flag nor any other source found gives one.

Lineage

GayFetishGoth presents the flag as an alternate to a separate foot fetish flag it lists first, and says the blue stripe nods to the wider family of fetish pride flags. ^[1] No derivation from a particular flag is stated by anyone, and none is asserted here. At least two other foot fetish flags exist and are distinct designs: the one the guide lists first, a black field with white footprints and a woven red-and-blue border, and a 2020 design by the artist Fetishie which charges the Leather Pride Flag bands with a pair of red footprints.

Colors & Symbolism

GayFetishGoth reports the design as built around the shape of a foot: an elongated 1:3 field, and ten stars for ten toes. ^[1]

GayFetishGoth states the 1:3 shape is deliberate, that it departs from the usual 2:3, and that it is meant to evoke a foot seen in profile. ^[1] That agrees with the record already held here, which had the proportion as the artist’s intent rather than an artefact of the artwork’s framing. The rest is read from the artwork, at 900 by 300 pixels.

The 1:3 ratio is reported as designed rather than normalized, and is supported both by the guide’s account of the intent and by the artwork’s own proportions. No published specification by the designer has been located, and no colour values are recorded.
