A seven-stripe warm-toned flag in reds, oranges, white, yellow-beige, and brown, published on the butchspace Tumblr on June 27, 2017. The flag was created as a deliberate alternative to the femme-coded pink lesbian flag that had dominated lesbian visual culture, centering butch identity through earthy warm tones that evoke courage, passion, chivalry, and honesty. Its orange-side palette was later combined with the pink lesbian flag to create the orange-pink lesbian flag now in widest circulation. [BUT17-S1][BUT17-S2]
